Celebrating Lunar new year, it was an honour to be invited to perform at SA State's Government Lunar New Year Dinner at the Adelaide Zoo this year (we have two new pandas arrive at our zoo!)

It was a beautiful experience to be playing in this wonderful exhibit - a ship! A fabulous audience and also with amazing friends / musicians - San Ureshi. The best of it all was to have a chance to play with Derek Pascoe too!

Deeply honoured to be part of such a personal journey, Zhao looks forward to this project entering its final phase and development. It will be touching, sentimental and certainly a new phase of music making for Zhao! Congrats to Sam Lau!

Perspectives on Forever
An experience to play David Kotlowy's commissioned piece of music - Sometimes - with Adelaide Baroque Strings. It was fun as we played with being a clock, breathing, feeling, listening, to count but not count, to be and not be. Huge congratulations to David for writing for guzheng - I believe he may be one of the few composers within Australia to be writing for this pentatonic instrument!
